Sign Language Factory is happy to announce their 15th Expressions in Silence Weekend! This weekend will be for beginner through advanced levels and will be held at our new camp location, beautiful Forest Home in Forest Falls, (Redlands) CA.
You will have a unique opportunity to learn, build your self confidence and to practice your sign language skills as you socialize with our deaf friends who come to the Silent Weekend camp. There will be a variety of workshops and games throughout the weekend. You won't want to miss it!
Workshops will be provided for all levels of signers...you choose which ones you're most comfortable in. Some workshops may be voiced for your learning convenience, but outside the workshops...NO VOICING! It's sure to be a challenging & rewarding experience for all levels of signers, 18 and older! (Special waivers may be accepted for students under 18. Please contact our office for more info.). Be sure to ask your ASL instructor about the possibility of receiving extra credit for your attendance. Many instructors will give extra credit for our Expressions in Silence weekends!
Your accommodations will be dorm style cabins, sleeping 10 people per cabin with bunkbeds.
Each cabin has it's own shower and private toilet. If you are coming with a friend or friends, you may request to be housed in the same dorm cabin.
Check in anytime after 4pm on Friday afternoon. Our first workshop will begin at 7:30pm Friday evening. Saturday, your day will be filled with a variety of workshops and other fun activities. Sunday, we will wrap up with a short, non denominational church service (optional) all in ASL. Departure will be at 11am on Sunday.
The cost of the weekend is as low as $195 if you take advantage of the early-bird registration. Your fee covers a $20 non-refundable registration fee, lodging, four meals (Sat. breakfast, lunch & dinner and Sunday breakfast) plus all the workshops and activities for the entire weekend. (An optional Friday night dinner may be added for a slight additional cost.)

All refunds are less the $20 non-refundable registration fee. 100% refund if cancelled at least 30 days prior to weekend. 50% refund if cancelled 7-29 days prior to weekend. SORRY, ABSOLUTELY NO REFUND IF CANCELLED LESS THAN 7 DAYS PRIOR. NO EXCEPTIONS! (This is due to the fact that we must guarantee and pay for the number of participants.)
Once we receive your registration form and payment, we will email you a confirmation letter. Aproximately 2 weeks prior to the camp date, you will recieve a letter with a map and other pertinent information regarding your weekend.
